We specialise in expat insurance in Spain, offering a personal, bilingual service in English and Spanish. Based in Marbella and working across Spain, we’re here to make sure you’re properly protected—every step of the way.

Management Team

David Bloomfield-  Managing Director:

David joined Bsure after gaining experience in the London insurance market and completing his broker qualifications. Since joining the family business, he has been focused on delivering clear, practical advice and building long-term relationships with clients.

As Managing Director, David works closely with the team to carry on the company’s values while guiding Bsure forward. He brings his industry experience to every client interaction, making sure coverage is clear, simple, and gives peace of mind.

Philip Bloomfield- Founder: 

Philip founded Bsure Insurance in 1989. From the outset, he established the company on the principles of integrity, personal service, and a steadfast client-first approach. It didn’t take long for him to recognise that health insurance was a top priority for the growing expat community along the coast. With this insight, Philip established a strong partnership with Medifiatc, a respected mutual health insurance provider, and set Bsure on the path to becoming a trusted name in the market. Under his leadership, Bsure earned a reputation for dependable, relationship-driven service and cultivated a loyal client base. 

Philip is now fully retired from the business. While no longer involved in day-to-day operations, his values and vision remain at the heart of Bsure Insurance.

Mary Bloomfield - Marketing:

Mary plays a key role in Marketing, client relations, and networking for Bsure. You’ll often find Mary at ladies' lunches and local events—always ready with a smile and a friendly chat. Don’t be surprised if she asks who your insurance is with, and of course, she'll remind you to get in touch with Bsure when it’s time to renew!

The Team

Araceli joined Bsure in 2014 and played a vital role in the company’s growth and development. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in helping Bsure reach the next level. While many clients know Araceli as their go-to contact for claims, she is also deeply involved in a range of administrative and back-office responsibilities that keep the business running smoothly.  

Agustina joined the Bsure team in 2025 and works closely with Araceli, providing dedicated support on claims processing and administrative functions.

Our client service and operations are expertly managed by Nadia and Claire. They oversee client accounts, new business, policy renewals, and day-to-day administration. Their meticulous, client-focused approach ensures the delivery of consistently high-standard service.

Additionally, Maria brought her expertise to Bsure in 2025, specializing in the Health Insurance sector.
